OnePlus Nord 5G: Specifications and Price

OnePlus Nord was launched by OnePlus in July 2020 and is the brand’s latest mid-level offering in India which supports 5G. A Special Edition of the OnePlus Nord has also been launched during the OnePlus 8T 5G launch event.

• The OnePlus Nord is a 5G ready mobile and comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display.
• The smartphone has dual-front cameras and borrows the same primary camera from the flagship device OnePlus 8.
• OnePlus Nord mainly competes with Samsung Galaxy M51 and Realme X3.

Features and Specifications

• OnePlus Nord features a 6.44” (16.36cm) fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. 
• Nord comes with Oxygen OS on top of Android 10 with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765G chipset and Adreno 620 GPU. Nord is equipped with 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage.

• Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G mobile platform unites 5G and AI to power select premium experiences for gamers, including 5G gaming at multi-gigabit speeds and select Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming features and support for all-day battery life. The Adreno 620 GPU provides 10% faster graphics rendering compared to the standard Snapdragon 765 for a stunning visual experience that brings gaming action to life. 

• Nord is equipped with four rear cameras with dual-LED flash and dual front cameras. It comes with a 48MP primary sensor same as OnePlus 8 with Optical Image Stabilization(OIS), an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens with a 119° field of view, and F2.25 aperture, a 5MP depth lens with F2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens with F2.4 aperture. The dual front camera is equipped with a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor with F2.45 aperture and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). The second sensor that is equipped in the front is an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens with an F2.45 aperture and 105° field of view.
• The quad rear camera setup on the Nord supports 1080p@30/60fps, 4K@30fps, 1080p Super Slow Motion at 240fps, and 1080p/4K Time Lapse at 30fps. Nord also has an inbuilt video editor. The dual-camera setup on the front supports 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps, and Time-Lapse.

• Some additional features on the smartphone are Face Unlock, HDR, Night Mode, Video Enhancer, Filters, AI Scene Detection, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
• Nord has a 4115 mAh non-removable battery and supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging. The ports present on the smartphone are Type-C for charging and earphones and a dual SIM slot.
• The sensors onboard the smartphone are Accelerometer, Electronic compass, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Sensor Core, and In-display fingerprint sensor.

• OnePlus Nord is available in three colors; Blue Marble, Gray Onyx and the special edition Grey Ash. The mobile is 8.2mm thick and weighs 184g.

• OnePlus Nord is available in three variants; 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.
• The 6GB/64GB variant is priced at 24,999 INR.
• The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at 27,999 INR.
