Apple had a virtual launch event on October 13th, 2020. As expected, Apple has launched the new iPhone 12 series as the main highlight of the event. Apple has also launched HomePod mini with a price tag of 9,900 INR which is available in two colors. Apple HomePod mini will be on sale from November 6th through Apple India Store and authorized dealers.
Coming to the iPhone 12 series, Apple has launched four models of the iPhone 12 with the brand’s latest 5nm A14 Bionic chipset. They are
- iPhone 12 Mini
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
Few key highlights of the iPhone 12 series are,
- They are equipped with Apple’s latest 5nm A14 Bionic Chipset.
- The display of the new iPhone 12 series is a Super Retina XDR display.
- The iPhone 12 series uses a ceramic shield that offers 4x better drop protection than glass.
This time Apple is providing 128GB internal storage for the base variant of the Pro models. Apple iPhone 12 Mini starts at 69,900 INR for the 64GB base variant and the Apple iPhone 12 starts at 79,900 INR for the 64GB base variant. Apple iPhone 12 Pro starts at 1,19,900 INR for the base variant and the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at 1,29,900 INR for the base variant. iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max also comes equipped with a LiDAR scanner. Apple iPhone 12 Mini and Apple iPhone 12 comes with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants. Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage variants.
You can pre-order the iPhone 12 from October 23rd and iPhone 12 Mini from November 6th. The iPhone 12 Pro can be pre-ordered from October 23rd and iPhone 12 Pro Max can be pre-ordered from November 6th.
Apple also launched MagSafe accessories for the iPhone 12 series.
